Before Total Life Pursuit became a global ministry, it began as a manuscript in the hands of its author, Terry Miller—my former pastor. He reached out for editorial support, and as I worked through the book, I sensed God prompting that this wasn’t just a book. It was the seed of something far greater. What followed were a series of intentional creative meetings where Terry and I began to envision a broader brand and movement around his six life domains: Spiritual, Physical, Mental, Emotional, Relational, and Financial.
I served as both editor and cover designer for the first edition of the book, helping refine Terry’s voice while designing a visual identity that aligned with his message of balance, purpose, and transformation. The bold, directional cover design echoes the structure of the six domains while conveying the dynamic nature of the pursuit. I also supported the self-publishing process on Amazon, walking Terry through layout, formatting, and digital upload.
Twelve years later, Total Life Pursuit has grown into a thriving discipleship framework. Terry now travels the world—especially throughout Spanish-speaking communities—teaching and equipping others to live remarkably in all areas of life. The original book has since expanded into a full discipleship system with several accompanying workbooks I helped him publish in both English and Spanish.
It’s been a joy and honor to see this book become a springboard for something so much bigger than either of us imagined at the start.
