Red Inke was my personal freelance brand through which I offered editorial and design services—balancing the precision of a copy editor with the creativity of a designer. The name itself is a nod to both history and craft: “Inke” reflects the Middle English spelling of ink, while the logo visually strikes through the silent "e" using a classic editorial mark—blending editing and visual design in a single gesture.
This concept became a signature of my work: intentional, detail-oriented, and aesthetically thoughtful. Under Red Inke, I worked with clients across publishing, small business, and nonprofit sectors to provide end-to-end creative support—editing copy, refining tone and voice, designing book covers and marketing materials, and delivering cohesive brand visuals.
The duality of Red Inke—both writer and designer—allowed me to approach projects holistically. This experience ultimately became the foundation of my pivot into full brand identity development, where clarity of message and visual consistency go hand in hand.
