As part of a full rebranding effort for SoulRapha—a nonprofit supporting nursing home residents—I collaborated with the executive team to create a visual identity that reflected the organization’s heart for healing, dignity, and connection. I also contributed to the naming of the organization, combining "Soul" to represent depth, personhood, and spiritual care with "Rapha," the Hebrew word for “to heal.” Together, the name expressed a mission of emotional and relational restoration for a community often overlooked—our seniors.
The logo’s design features a radiant circular emblem made of interwoven leaf-like forms that evoke growth, vitality, and unity. The visual rhythm of the icon suggests a sunburst or blooming flower—symbolizing warmth, renewal, and the hope that SoulRapha brings into care facilities. The calming palette of blues and golden tones was chosen to strike a balance between trust, serenity, and human warmth.
The typography blends a modern, clean sans-serif with friendly curves and open letterforms, reinforcing both professionalism and approachability. I also developed the tagline, “Holistic Wellness for Aging Communities,” to clearly reflect the organization’s commitment to whole-person care and community support.
This brand identity served as the foundation for SoulRapha’s visual storytelling, digital presence, and donor outreach—anchoring their expanded impact initiatives and communication strategy.
